Structural Engineer – Telecom Towers
Client:
Our client is a leading telecommunications infrastructure company supporting wireless network development and tower infrastructure across the U.S. and international markets. They are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, modification, and deployment of wireless communication structures.

Short Overview of Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and mount analyses for towers, monopoles, buildings, foundations, and wireless equipment
- Design tower reinforcements, extensions, foundations, anchorage, and other structural modifications
- Prepare structural calculations, engineering reports, drawings, and construction documentation
- Perform QA/QC reviews of structural analyses and engineering deliverables
- Support construction activities including RFIs, shop drawings, and technical submittals
- Conduct site visits and field assessments to verify existing conditions
- Coordinate with project managers, drafters, contractors, clients, and permitting authorities
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IBC, TIA-222, ASCE, and other structural standards
You Should Apply If You Have:
- 3–5+ years of structural engineering experience, ideally within telecom or wireless infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- Experience performing mount analyses and structural assessments for towers, monopoles, tanks, and buildings
- Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, wood, masonry, foundations, and structural design principles
- Experience with tnxTower, RISA 3D, Mathcad, Enercalc, or similar structural engineering software
- Experience developing construction documents and working with permitting requirements
- Strong project management, technical writing, and communication skills
Preferred: Telecom carrier standards experience, AutoCAD knowledge, Structural Engineering license, and/or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
