Short Overview of Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
• Manage and mentor an Accountant responsible for AP processing, vendor payments, invoicing, and daily accounting activities
• Maintain loan accounting schedules including amortization tables, interest accruals, principal tracking, fees, and payoffs across the portfolio
• Oversee investor distribution calculations, custodian reporting, and support preparation of investor tax documentation including Forms 1099
• Manage general ledger activity, budgeting support, variance analysis, and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Support annual audits, tax preparation, and ongoing accounting process improvement initiatives
• Serve as a key user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and assist with automation and OCR workflow initiatives

You Should Apply If You Have:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within lending, real estate, private credit, or debt investment environments
• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and GAAP-based accounting
• Demonstrated expertise building and maintaining amortization schedules and loan-level accounting records
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff within a collaborative team structure
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations strongly preferred
